Introduction to freestyle
Do you want to freestyle Rodney Mullen style? It\'s actually not that hard to do some really cool freestyle stuff!

Hint 1: Understand the meaning of \'freestyle\'. This means you can do anything what you want, if it feels good to you! This means dancing on your board is also freestyle in a way. I\'m not saying that\'s the way you want to be skating, but that\'s up to you.

Hint 2: Combine tricks! It\'s really impressive what you can do with some really easy basic tricks. I suggest you practise the shove-it, walk-the-dog, pivots, end overs and multiple 360\'s first. Then just be creative and combine these tricks into long combos. Later you may replace the shove-it\'s by bigspins. Combining tricks with manuals are a lot of fun too. This is a little harder, but it sure feels good when you\'ve mastered it.

Hint 3: Although end overs are the backbone of your freestyle combo, you might want to throw in some of those goodlooking freestyle tricks, such as casper flips and primo/reemo tricks.

Hint 4: This one is related to \'Hint 1\'. For freestyle, don\'t be afraid to use your hands, or put a feet on the ground doing a trick. Try to invent other ways to use the board. To give some examples: casper, railstand, handstand, truckstand, pogo air... What you do and how you do it really doesn\'t matter! As long as it makes you feel good. That\'s my opinion on freestyling and on skateboarding in general.

Now jump on your board (or jump off it!) and have fun freestyling!
