British singer Natasha Bedingfield says she wants to record a song with Coldplay.

The songstress confessed she had never actually met the band, but was desperate to work with them.

\"I would love to even meet Chris Martin,\" she told MTV music show TRL. \"Writing with him would be amazing.\"

Natasha, 25, is celebrating success in the United States, with her hit single Unwritten being used as the theme tune for popular reality show The Hills.

But while she has scored a string of hits over the last few years, her song-writing brother Daniel has remained quiet.

Natasha told TRL the Gotta Get Through This star was currently recording a new album - but said they did not talk much about work.

\"We don\'t talk about plans,\" she said. \"We talk about other stuff - brother and sister stuff.\"
